Dr. Freddy Gaton is an active member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians who has been practicing Family Medicine for over 12-years in the middle Georgia region. He is actively involved in the teaching of Family Medicine residents and the training of medical students at Mercer University. He currently is active on various boards including Community Healthworks and is the Chairman of the Crawford County Board of Health. He is married to Lisa Gaton, a pediatric nurse at the Children’s hospital and has two sons who attend Stratford Academy. He and his family are active members of Martha Bowman Methodist Church. Dr. Gaton has been practicing medicine since 1995 and established Crawford Family Medicine in Roberta, Georgia in 1995 where he also currently practices and is devoted to numerous community activities.
